An entrepreneur has smashed a world record for flogging books – with a little help from billionaires Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.
Alex Hormozi, 35, shifted a staggering 2.7 million copies of $100M Money Models in just one day, making it the fastest-selling non-fiction book of all time.
The sales came pouring in after Alex appeared on a seven-hour YouTube livestream billed as a “must-watch masterclass”.

Fans tuned in to see the entrepreneur unveil his third book in his How To Make Money series, as reported by Founder Insights.
The latest release promises to examine the real reason most businesses fail—and how to fix it.
Paying tribute to tech tycoons Musk and Bezos during the livestream, he said: “Thanks to you all.

“We broke a Guinness World Record.
“I set a goal to put a book in the hands of every entrepreneur in America, and the Guinness World record we broke was just a milestone on the way to that goal.
“Everything I have is because of things I’ve learned and because of other people who decided to write it down.
“But I had to glean and put together the pieces from tiny interviews with great entrepreneurs like Elon and Bezos.”
Alex, who runs Acquisition.com, has already released two books – $100M Offers and $100M Leads – but this latest release catapulted him into publishing history.
He added, “So from the beginning, I wanted to build a brand that just put everything out there.
“What was crazy is that when I looked at the nonfiction book sales record, out of the top ten, nine of them were politicians.

“From both parties.
“But entrepreneurs, we’re the ones in the arena.
“We make the most sacrifices.
“I thought, ‘one of us should have that’.
“But this award is not mine.
“It’s all of ours.
“I couldn’t have done this without you all choosing to donate books.

“I want to get books into the hands of as many entrepreneurs in America as I can.
“And I’m not stopping until I do.”
Fans were quick to pile in with praise.
Arahome Triana said, “Congratulations.”
James Campbell added, “Congratulations. Well executed launch.”

And Alex Loft joked: “How many copies did you buy yourself?”
